Why Soil Care?
We are helping people understand how soil health is directly connected to human health. Soil touches every facet of our lives whether it’s the food we eat, the air we breath, or the water we drink. We all have a vested interest in healthy soil. Most soils are void of the necessary organic matter and biodiversity needed for the soil to be healthy. The health of trees, lawns, gardens and landscapes all begin with the soil.
At Grassroots, our focus is supporting the soil community. When you have a living diverse community of organisms, the soil can take care of itself. This supports not only the plant life but the rest of the ecosystem too. We often talk about how our goal is to work ourselves out of a job. When we take care of nature, nature takes care of us.

Do you remember the days when driving down some roads, the trees had such a full canopy, it was like driving through a tunnel? We do too! We love our trees and we can bring back their health and vigor. Our tree restoration program will feed, protect, and begin the journey of healing.
